Country Garden’s Central Park begins soft launch of first phase

PETALING JAYA (March 1): Central Park, a joint-venture (JV) project between Hong Kong-listed Country Garden Holdings Co Ltd and Damansara Realty Bhd, will soft launch phase one of the residential developments in Tampoi, Johor this Saturday (March 4).

The 53-acre Central Park is located at Persiaran Aliff Harmoni Utama in Tampoi, about 10km from Johor Bahru customs. Developed by the JV company DAC Properties, this freehold development has an estimated gross development value (GDV) of RM4.6 billion.

Phase one of the project offers 1,778 condominium units with five layout choices, ranging from one-bedroom to 4+1-bedrooms. Built-up sizes are between 398 sq ft and 1,636 sq ft, a spokesperson from Country Garden Group told TheEdgeProperty.com.

According to recent reports, Country Garden Group Malaysia regional president Jason Fu Jinling had revealed that the price range of the upcoming launch at Central Park will be from RM200,000 to RM600,000.

Interested buyers can register their interest during the soft launch. The official launch will be held at either the end of March or early April.

Central Park head of project marketing Eason Qian said the condominium units are aimed at young Malaysian homebuyers from the low to middle-income group, especially those who are planning to own their first home.

The project offers full condominium facilities including a 15.6-acre park, a football field, a playground, landscaping, BBQ spaces, swimming pool and gymnasium.

Central Park is the fourth development by Country Garden in Malaysia — the other three projects are Danga Bay and Forest City in Johor as well as Country Garden Diamond City in Semenyih, Selangor.
