KUALA LUMPUR (May 26): In its latest corporate social responsibility initiative, Thriven Global Bhd is contributing towards the upkeep of the Kota Damansara Community Forest Reserve. It has recently adopted a newly created hiking trail at the forest and donated RM10,000 to the Kota Damansara Community Forest Society (KDCF Society) for the maintenance of the forest.

Besides that, staff and members of the company, KDCF Society and Setiakon Builders have also joined in efforts to maintain the forest reserve located at Kota Damansara, Selangor last weekend. Trash was collected from the hiking trails, lake and park.

“This adoption of the hiking trail is in line with Thriven’s emphasis on sustainable development in all its projects, which includes designs with ample natural lighting and ventilation, use of energy-efficient fittings and provision of lush green environment,” said Thriven in a statement recently.

The property developer will also be launching a six-month wellness programme themed “Towards a healthier nation, building better lives” soon.

The campaign will kick off on July 8 at the Thriven Sales Gallery in Section 13, Petaling Jaya, where it will provide free wellness-related classes on a bi-weekly basis to the public, such as yoga, jazzercise, indoor cycling, nutritional talks, fitness classes and others.
