KUALA LUMPUR (Dec 29): The Aikbee Group, well-known for The Pearl Kuala Lumpur, Pearl Point Shopping Mall and Pearl Point Condominium developments in the early 90s, has launched a new residential project on Jalan Kepong here.

Dubbed the UNIO Residence, it features two apartment blocks, unified by continuous flowing metallic fins that link the facilities.

Its tagline — Redefining Life in Kepong — is illustrated in UNIO Residence’s 60 state-of-the-art facilities achieved through the revolution of technologies.

“Striving to enhance living quality and sustainability for all, Aikbee Group is also committed to obtaining the Green Building Index and the Quality Assessment System for Building Construction Work certifications from the Construction Industry Development Board in all their future property developments,” said Aikbee in a statement.

“Quality living for the betterment of the next generation is also apparent through the preservation of a green environment and a well-designed energy reusable system,” it added.

UNIO Residence has a four-tier enhanced security feature, including a 24-hour CCTV surveillance that monitors the front guardhouse and boom gate entry for vehicles and IP-based video intercom systems at the front guardhouse and at every unit at access points.

“UNIO strongly believes good feng shui complements a good home. To ensure personal and professional success for its residents, Aikbee Group has commissioned Joey Yap Group Ltd to spearhead UNIO’s feng shui project, with Datuk Joey Yap as chief consultant,” said Aikbee.

“UNIO is also the only residence to boast of the state-of-the-art facilities that typically can be found at luxury hotels or resorts such as a 60m long infinity pool at the rooftop, the highest standalone gym in Kepong with a 360° view, the only rooftop sky yoga and the only rooftop sky amphitheatre and cinema.

“UNIO keeps you environmentally-conscious, too, as it promotes a greener concept through sustainable living and more user-friendly designs. All detached and semi-detached units promote natural lighting, and a solar energy system reduces electricity bills of common facilities by approximately 10%.

“Also, all units promote natural cross ventilation for cooler and more comfortable living. Downstairs, a lush green landscape is what you see as you come home to UNIO. Energy-saving LED lights are used in all units and common areas, and electrical charging ports are available for hybrid cars. Much thought and consideration has also gone into designing traffic flow, child safety and hassle-free accessibility/handicap-friendly ramp throughout the building,” said Aikbee.

The grand launch of the UNIO Residence was held on Dec 17 at the UNIO Residence Sales Gallery here.
