KUALA LUMPUR (Aug 6): The High Court has fixed Sept 6 as the next case management date for FGV Holdings Bhd's case against its former chairman Tan Sri Mohd Isa Abdul Samad and former president and group chief executive officer Datuk Mohd Emir Mavani Abdullah.

"The next case management will be on Sept 6," Isa Samad's lawyer Lavinia Kumaraendran told reporters after the case management earlier today, held in chambers before Justice Datuk Azimah Omar.

Also present was lawyer Ang Hean Leng, representing FGV.

FGV filed a lawsuit against Mohd Emir and Isa Samad relating to the purchase of a luxury condominium at Troika, KLCC, which the group claimed was bought at an inflated price by the two.

The suit also concerns the misuse of company cars and petrol benefits by Mohd Emir.

The plantation group is claiming RM4.54 million from the two defendants for the purchase of the condominium and another RM3.15 million from Mohd Emir.

FGV is also claiming interest of 5% per annum on the amount, from the date of the lawsuit until full settlement.

The court had previously fixed Nov 25 to 29 and Dec 2 to 4, 2019, for the hearing of the case.
