The refurbishment of the outdoor sports court of PPR Seri Cempaka is gaining traction with an increasing number of volunteers participating in the painting works.

The sports court transformation project, which started on Monday, is part of the Sayangi Rumahku campaign -- a joint effort by EdgeProp.my, Paramount Property and Nippon Paint Malaysia in support of the National Community Policy (DKN) formulated by the Housing and Local Government Ministry which aims to improve the lives of the B40 group.

Employees from the three companies and community members of PPR Seri Cempaka have taken time off from their busy work schedules to paint under the hot sun.

None of them are professional painters but under the guidance of the sports court designer Melissa Lo, they were taught the skills and knowledge of court painting, such as applying sealant for preparation, drawing the outline and applying the first layer of colour paint.

The painting work will takes four days to complete, so stay tuned with us to see the new look of PPR Seri Cempaka sports court!
