Ranau MP now has a different Facebook message

KUALA LUMPUR (Feb 27): Ranau MP Jonathan Yasin has now replaced his earlier Facebook message that said he never left PKR, reported the Malay Mail.

In the new posting, Jonathan said: “Any issues regarding my position in the party will be discussed with the party’s bureau and committee members this afternoon. #keepCalm.”

Jonathan wrote in the earlier posting that has since been removed that “For the record, I am still in PKR. I also deny that I have given my agreement to leave the party. I will clarify this matter with the party’s committee, bureau later this afternoon”.

Jonathan is known to be part of the Datuk Seri Azmin Ali faction. When Azmin and Ampang MP Zuraida Kamaruddin were sacked from PKR, Jonathan and eight other party lawmakers followed them to create “an independent bloc”.

A source close told the Malay Mail that Jonathan’s social media/Facebook administrator had made a mistake and that the Ranau law maker was not aware of the material that was being posted.
