KUALA LUMPUR (Feb 29): Wan Junaidi Tuanku Jaafar, the GPS’ Santubong lawmaker has revealed that his party had yesterday thrown their support for Tan Sri Muhyiddin Yassin as prime minister, reported The Malaysian Insight.

Wan Junaidi also said that the reason the Sarawak coalition dropped its support for Tun Dr Mahathir Mohamad “was because of DAP”, reported the news portal.

Sarawak Chief Minister Abang Johari Openg was reported to have said at a GPS function in Belaga today that “it would be stupid of GPS to support a party that had accused the coalition of not being able to administer the state”.

The chief minister also added that it is difficulty to work with DAP, “considering it is DAP’s objective to oust GPS in the coming state election”.
