KUALA LUMPUR (March 20): PLUS Malaysia Bhd said the southbound Ebor toll plaza (entry) in the North–South Expressway Central Link (ELITE), where a toll operator tested COVID-19 positive on March 18, has resumed operations at midnight today.

This follows the completion of the sanitisation and cleaning processes at the location as at 1.30pm yesterday.

“The toll plaza will remain closed until midnight as preparation time is required to ensure the building and toll operations functions are readied for the re-opening,” PLUS said in a statement yesterday.

“As such, customers from Shah Alam, Batu Tiga and surrounding areas who wish to enter the ELITE highway to KLIA, Putrajaya or south are advised to do so via Shah Alam or Seafield toll plazas.

“PLUS takes this opportunity to advise all highway customers to practice social distancing to prevent the spread of COVID-19,” it added.
