KUALA LUMPUR (April 14): Legendary martial artist Ip Man had many disciples and many have passed on but a few lived on to old age.

One of them is Ho Kam Ming, 96, who trained with Ip Man in 1954, but the sad news is that he died in Toronto, Canada, last Thursday, “owing to complications arising from COVID-19”, reported Sin Chew Daily.

A native of Macau, Ho helped popularise Ip Man’s Wing Chun martial art in “both his home country and Canada”, reported the daily.

Ho established his “training centre” in Macau in 1969 before migrating to Canada in 1990.
