KUALA LUMPUR (May 2): Twenty seven Covid-19 cases were detected at the Pavilion Embassy construction site here, the Malay Mail reported today.

According to Federal Territories Minister Tan Sri Annuar Musa (pictured), the 27 cases were part of the 36 found in the federal territories yesterday.

The news portal reported that Pavilion Residences is a premium project being developed along Jalan Ampang.

“At the KL wholesale market there was one case. There were four in Putrajaya but these were all imported, and there were also four cases from other locations.

“Then, at Pavilion Embassy, there were 27 cases, bringing the total to 36 for Kuala Lumpur and Putrajaya,” Annuar revealed during a Facebook Live session earlier today.

Health director-general Datuk Dr Noor Hisham Abdullah announced today there were another 105 Covid-19 cases up to noon today.

This means there have now been 6,176 cases in the country, with 1,747 active cases being treated by the Ministry of Health.
