PUTRAJAYA (June 19): The authorities will teak the standard operating procedures (SOPs) for restaurants and eateries so that they can have full capacity for dine in, Senior Minister (Security Cluster) Datuk Seri Ismail Sabri Yaakob said today.

In a Malay Mail report, Ismail Sabri said during his daily briefing here on the Covid-19 situation that the number of customers at the each table will depend on the width, and that social distancing must still be followed.

“Sometimes, families of four or more people coming into restaurants or eateries are required to sit separately since operators are strict about the SOPs. As long as social distancing is maintained, then it is not an issue for them to all sit at the same table,” he said.
