PETALING JAYA (Sept 18): UEM Sunrise has achieved over RM400 million in sales and bookings within two months, mainly driven by the good market response for its projects in Klang Valley, Bangi and Johor Bahru.

In a media statement today, managing director and chief executive officer Anwar Syahrin Abdul Ajib (pictured) said the company is determined to pivot their strategies to continue building the awareness and interest in the products and the UEM Sunrise brand during the MCO and Conditional MCO period.

“We knew that there was pent-up demand from the buyers and their confidence in our products, that we were able to convert much of this leads and interest to actual bookings – showing that our efforts are paying off,” he noted.

The company’s sales of new phases in its existing development have gained traction since the beginning of the recovery movement control order (RMCO) -- for instance, phase 1A of Senadi Hills in Iskandar Puteri, Johor, have seen 80% of 112 units taken up since its launch in July.

Phase 1A of Senadi Hills has private and secure multi-generational homes with land area measuring 20 ft by 70 ft, and layout options of four bedrooms and five bedrooms to suit different needs. Senadi Hills provides friendly facilities to the elderly and the less-abled with wheelchair-friendly spaces.

UEM Sunrise’s contemporary double-story terraced house project -- Frischia, in Serene Heights Bangi, has also achieved 91% of take-up rate, while the Residensi AVA in Kiara Bay, Kuala Lumpur, has received a take-up rate of 55%.

Frischia offers 47-unit double-storey houses with built-ups ranging between 2,225 sq ft to 2,497 sq ft. Most of the units front directly to the waterway with facilities catering to all age demographics.

Residensi AVA forms the first phase of Kiara Bay, the 73-acre flagship waterfront development of UEM Sunrise in Kepong. The two towers house 870 residential units with built-up ranging from 800 to 1,250 sq ft. Included in this phase are facilities such as swimming pools, gymnasium, sky deck, and more.

Meanwhile, Anwar Syahrin added that the good market response has given UEM Sunrise the momentum to capitalise on the positive trend and continue pushing ahead with its new launches including Allevia, an exclusive high-rise development in the heart of Mont’Kiara; Plot B of Solaris Parq, the office tower component of the 18.76-acre mixed-development master plan; and Verna, the latest double-storey terraced home offering in Serene Heights Bangi.
