KUALA LUMPUR (Oct 10): RHB Bank Bhd has confirmed that one of its employees from the RHB Metro Town Sales Hub in Kota Kinabalu has tested positive for COVID-19.

In a statement yesterday, the bank said the employee was found to be COVID-19 positive today and is currently under quarantine, adding that the employee had been away from the office since Oct 1 and was only briefly present in the office on Oct 7.

“The Sales Hub and Auto Finance office has been temporarily closed from (yesterday) until further notice. Deep cleaning and sanitisation activities are being carried out in accordance with Ministry of Health guidelines.

“As an added precaution, employees who had come into close contact with the affected employee have been placed on home quarantine,” RHB said.

The bank said it has taken all necessary precautionary measures to ensure the health and safety of its customers, employees and the community.
