KUALA LUMPUR (Oct 11): The Bangsar Shopping Centre (BSC) will be closed two hours earlier today after an outlet’s staff member was tested positive for Covid-19.

In a press release issued today, the BSC management said the case involved a retail staff from the Origani shop on the ground floor.

“The said staff was on duty on Tuesday, 6th October 2020 and at that time was not showing any symptoms. The staff has not been in BSC since,” it stated.

“Origani has immediately closed its outlet and all staff are undergoing Covid-19 testing in full compliance with the Ministry of Health (MOH) guidelines,” the statement added.

The temporary closure at 8.00pm today is to facilitate intensive sanitisation throughout the mall, which BSC said is undertaken on its own accord.

BSC gave its assurance to continuously adhere to all the Covid-19 regulations and observe the necessary preventive and precautionary measures.

BSC will resume its normal operation hours tomorrow.
