SHAH ALAM (Oct 14): Morning markets in Selangor are allowed to open for business throughout the 14-day conditional movement control order (CMCO) period effective today, said Menteri Besar Datuk Seri Amirudin Shari.

According to Malay Mail report, Amirudin said the morning markets would need to comply with the same standard operating procedure (SOP) which applied to the night markets.

Non-Muslim marriage registrations also allowed during CMCO, but limited to only six people at one time.

Meanwhile, he added that the previous SOP specifically for the mukim (sub-district) of Klang had been cancelled after the state government decided to adopt the SOP outlined by the National Security Council (MKN) for the whole of Selangor.
