PETALING JAYA (Dec 16): Two Prasarana Malaysia staff from the Kelana Jaya LRT station have tested positive for Covid-19 infection, reported The Star.

According to a statement from Prasarana today, the two were station officers who last reported for work on Dec 12 and 13, respectively.

The company also explained that the two staff’s work did not entail close contact with passengers

"Other employees who were in close contact with the Covid-19 positive employees were ordered to undergo testing and quarantine for 14 days," said the statement.

"Following this incident, the Rapid Rail management operating the Kelana Jaya LRT line has conducted disinfection and cleaning of the workplace of the employees involved.

"The exercise was done in accordance with the guidelines set by the Health Ministry," it added.
