KUALA LUMPUR (Dec 17): A video footage of a Tiger taking a bath in a tub in Southern India has been making Netizens all over the world go gaga.

According to media reports from India, the “royal bath” (as some have described the incident) took place in a coffee plantation located in the Coorg region of South India.

The footage was also embedded on the Indian-based News 18 website from a Facebook posting by a Rajesh Kalra who said: “What a beautiful WhatsApp forward. The tiger is really enjoying himself.”

Indian tycoon Anand Mahindra was also caught up in the Tiger mania. He Twitted: "Spent most of my childhood holidays at our home in Kodagu, just six miles from Nagarhole game sanctuary. NEVER lucky enough to see a tiger. And this chap comes to someone’s home to use their ‘bathtub.’ Magnificent. When a Tiger uses a Jacuzzi it becomes a ‘Ticuzzi’"

News 18 reported various reactions of people who saw the footage ranging from “Adorable, like a King in his bath tub” to “Tiger’s Choice”.

Others say it is an “advertisement opportunity for the company”, alluding to the coffee plantation where the tiger took its dip.

The male Indian or Bengal Tiger can grow up to 260 kg while the female can hit 160 kg.

Males and females have an average total length of 270 cm to 310 cm, and 240 cm to 265 cm respectively.
