KUALA LUMPUR (Aug 19): Econpile Holdings Bhd said today it has bagged a contract from Tunku Abdul Rahman University College to undertake earthworks, piling, infrastructure and related works in Setapak for RM22.69 million.

The letter of acceptance was received by Econpile’s wholly-owned unit Econpile (M) Sdn Bhd, it said.

“The overall duration of the project is 10 months and works are expected to commence in September 2021,” Econpile said.

It is the fourth contract announced by the earthworks contractor this year, bringing the sum of its announced contract wins this year to RM141.95 million.

Shares of Econpile climbed one sen or 2.63% to 39 sen on Thursday, valuing the group at RM545.15 million.
