KUALA LUMPUR (Oct 4): KL Eco City (KLEC) has received the Multimedia Super Corridor (MSC) Cybercentre status as the corporate office tower of Mercu 2 was awarded the Designated Premises by Malaysia Digital Economy Corporation (MDEC).

In a media statement today, S P Setia Bhd executive vice president Tony Ling said this status is an added boost for businesses and corporations who are looking for office spaces that are in-line with their business strategy of digitalisation.

The MSC Cybercentre status is awarded to city, townships, or large building complexes for providing dedicated and specialised industry areas for MSC- status companies or Information and Communications Technology (ICT)-facilitated businesses to locate their operations.

Ling added that the status will bring in benefits of networking and business enhancement among its tenants. 

“This latest status and the additional benefits will offer our tenants more networking opportunities and business enhancements to further their organisation’s objectives and partnerships, giving them a competitive edge to compete globally,” he added. 

Additionally, the granted status will boost KLEC as a highly-sought after address for its location and accessibility.
