KUALA LUMPUR (Nov 17): Gagasan Nadi Cergas Bhd (GNCB) has secured a RM33.88 million contract to build a mosque at the Merdeka 118 project in Kuala Lumpur.

GNCB said its wholly-owned Nadi Cergas Sdn Bhd (NCSB) had accepted the letter of award (LoA) for the project from project owner PNB Merdeka Ventures Sdn Bhd, following a tender bid submitted by NCSB.

The contract is for 18 months from Dec 1, 2021 until May 31, 2023, the company said in a bourse filing. “The LoA is subject to a formal contract to be entered into between NCSB and PNB Merdeka Ventures in due course,” it added.

This is the fourth contract secured by GNCB this year.

On Oct 22, the group accepted a LoA from EPF’s unit to develop affordable housing in Kwasa Damansara.

Prior to that, it signed a letter of intent in May with Paramount Corp Bhd unit to develop high-rise affordable homes in Kemuning Utama and Salak Perdana, Selangor.

In March, GNCB bagged a government contract to develop the MARA Junior Science College in Dungun, Terengganu for RM97.39 million.

GNCB shares settled unchanged at 33 sen on Wednesday, giving it a market capitalisation of RM244.84 million.
