PETALING JAYA (Jan 6): Selangor Dredging Bhd (SDB) has completed and handed over its latest serviced apartment project — UNA at Jalan Peel in Kuala Lumpur.

In a press statement, SDB head of sales and marketing Khong Wei Chung said that the 46-storey single tower manifests the developer’s belief that quality life starts from home.

“Well-configured space is one of the key features of UNA, especially for young couples and families,” Khong added.

Introduced to the market in 2017, UNA offers only 316 serviced apartment units with built-ups ranging from 807 sq ft to 1,356 sq ft. To date, some 90% of the units have been sold.

Khong shared that there are only nine units per floor. Each unit features a rectilinear layout to eliminate unused spaces. The utilitarian balcony and extensive window panels also allow for natural light penetration and ventilation.

The facilities include a swimming pool, nursery, open lawn, roof terrace and sky hall. Residents are also surrounded by greenery with bountiful plants and flowers planted in the outdoor pool, sky garden and other communal areas, in line with UNA’s "spatial sanctuary" concept.

“The idea here is for residents to enjoy some peace and quiet as if they were in some urban oasis. All these areas are maintained and cleaned on a daily basis,” said Khong.

UNA is also surrounded by many conveniences. It is located opposite Sunway Velocity Mall, while other nearby shopping destinations and retail outlets include IKEA Cheras, MyTOWN Shopping Centre and AEON Taman Maluri.

In addition, approximately 3km away from UNA are, among others, Pavilion Kuala Lumpur and the Jalan Bukit Bintang belt as well as Kenanga Wholesale City. In the future, other landmarks set to open nearby include Merdeka 118, The Exchange TRX and Mitsui Shopping Park LaLaport Kuala Lumpur — all within a few kilometre radius.

Besides, public transportation such as the Maluri and Cochrane MRT stations and a few Rapid KL bus stops are nearby, and so are major highways such as SMART, MEX and Besraya.
