Taman Bukit Segar is a residential neighbourhood located right in the heart of Cheras, Kuala Lumpur. It is an established neighbourhood surrounded by mere minutes’ drive away from the convenience of shop lots and shopping malls, with a primary school just right around the corner.

This deal was concluded by Nick Yap from Reapfield Properties. According to Yap, the current owner had taken a liking to the unit when they visited for viewing as he further explained that the house had oozed a ‘home sweet home’ atmosphere. 

Meanwhile, for the previous owner, Yap shared that they had decided to sell off the 2.5-storey semi-detached house as their children no longer stayed with them. They had grown up and moved overseas. Therefore, the house felt a little too big for the owner without their children. 

Noting on the transacted price, Yap explained that this was a good deal for the buyer as the unit was sold at a much lower price as compared to a unit sold back in 2017.

“Previously in 2017, a unit in this same area and same road was sold at RM2.2 million,” noting that this deal was concluded for RM2.1 million. 

As of end-February 2022, there are 18 units in Taman Bukit Segar listed for sale on  EdgeProp.my with an average asking price of RM1.69 million or RM664 psf. There is only one unit that has been listed for rental with a monthly asking price of RM1,800 or RM1.29 psf.
