PETALING JAYA (March 25): Tropicana Corp Bhd has completed the handover of vacant possession for 40 units in Lakefield Residences in Tropicana Heights, Kajang on Wednesday (March 23).

Comprising 66 units of 2- and 3-storey link villas with built-ups up to 3,730 sq ft, the 5.94-acre Lakefield Residences is 90% sold with the remaining units pending signing of the sale and purchase agreement.

In a press release, the developer said that the homes in Lakefield Residences will be handed over in stages, starting with the first batch of 40.

"As the final landed residential precinct in Tropicana Heights, we are delighted to share the joy of our homeowners in Lakefield Residences as they join the township's growing community," said managing director of marketing and sales Joanne Lee in the statement.

"The glowing feedback shared during the vacant possession process also underscores the robustness of Tropicana's development DNA, as we deliver a mix of generous open spaces, connectivity, facilities, and more throughout our portfolio," she added.

Lee remarked that Lakefield Residences received an 81% Qlassic score from the CIDB Malaysia, higher than the industry average of 75%, in recognition of its construction workmanship. "Moving forward, we remain committed to delivering innovative, market-driven products for home seekers through integrated online and digital channels, as we continue redefining the art of living in all we do."

According to the press release, the developer has replanted existing trees including 400 khaya trees and 15 rain trees throughout the township's central park, walkways and roads to preserve the site's natural ecosystem.

Other environmental initiatives undertaken include conserving the existing site's topography and minimising excavation works and soil erosion; the township's linear lake acts as a rainwater harvesting system. Gross pollutant traps throughout the development also serve to channel excess stormwater towards landscape irrigation purposes and to mitigate flooding.

Situated in the heart of the 199-acre self-contained Tropicana Heights township, Lakefield Residences features green, integrated landscaping, a 750m linear lake and tree-lined avenues.

Residents of Lakefield Residences also get to enjoy amenities within the Tropicana Heights development including a 16-acre central park, a two-acre recreational hub as well as the Rafflesia International and Private Schools nearby.

The development is well connected with proximity to major routes such as Persiaran Bangi, Jalan Semenyih, the Kajang Dispersal Link Expressway (SILK) and the Kajang-Seremban Highway (LEKAS).
