PETALING JAYA (April 8): As the real estate industry sees rapid changes, which have been further accelerated by the Covid-19 pandemic, property agents and agencies over the past years have utilised technology to their advantage to stay in the game.

A disruption within the real estate industry seems inevitable. As such, many will need to adapt to the advent of new technologies as well as new business models to meet the ongoing changing demands in order to stay relevant in the field.

Taking note of the new demand, ESP Global had inked a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with EdgeProp Malaysia to provide listing integration and data solutions for ESP agents.

The MoU signifies EdgeProp Malaysia’s commitment to strengthen ESP’s platform by providing comprehensive marketing and data solutions.

“EdgeProp’s collaboration with ESP will see ESP agents getting access to industry-leading tools and reports. These tools and reports will help ESP clients make one of the biggest decisions in their lives,” says EdgeProp Malaysia managing director Alvin Ong.

The partnership will benefit ESP Global’s agents with access to EdgeProp’s listing integration and data solutions.

“Our goal is to work together with our partner agencies such as ESP and ensure this data is organised and accessible to you in a user-friendly way,” Ong adds.

ESP Global is a tech-empowered platform that serves to assist sales agents, negotiators, leaders as well as property agencies to scale their real estate businesses on a zero entry cost basis and pay as you earn subscription models, says ESP Global chief executive officer Aldrin Tan.

In its quest to empower property agents and agencies, the platform has incorporated five key areas which are branding, recruitment, system, support and retention.

Through these areas, ESP Global offers a wide range of professional and specialised solutions in various fields within the real estate industry. Some of its services include assisting in recruitments and providing support through technologies as well as sharing of expertise through ESP university.

“We seek to give empowerment to agency owners and their agents so that they can grow their business together. With this synergy, agents on the ground are able to help the agency owners grow,” says Tan.

Being equipped with the knowledge and training through the platform will benefit the agencies’ business as well, he adds.

Currently, ESP Global has recruited more than 1,800 agents. It is on track to reach 2,000 agents by the second quarter of 2022 and 3,000 agents by 2023.

For the long haul, they are targeting 12,000 agents by 2025 and have plans to establish its presence in Thailand, Cambodia and Vietnam.

In the same ceremony, ESP Global had inked other MoUs with several other property agencies based throughout the country.

These agencies are Esprit Estate Agent, CBD Properties, Profere Property, Richland Properties, ESP Sinaria, Prototal Real Estate, One World Real Estate as well as Esprit Estate Agent and CBD Properties’ regional branches.

ESP Global is established by Aldrin Tan from Esprit Estate Agent Sdn Bhd, Datuk Adrian Wang of CBD Properties and Kai Wong from Profere Property.
