PETALING JAYA (June 1): Sime Darby Property Bhd achieved a total of RM11 million in sales bookings during the Hari Raya open house weekend of May 21 and 22.

According to a media statement on Tuesday (May 31), the developer concluded the sales bookings from the two-day Hari Raya open house event held across six townships, namely Serenia City in Sepang; Bandar Bukit Raja and City of Elmina in Selangor; KLGCC Resort in Kuala Lumpur; Bandar Ainsdale in Negeri Sembilan; and Bandar Universiti Pagoh in Johor.

“After two years of missing out on the hustle and bustle the special celebration brings, it was heartening to see so many people enjoying the sizzling Raya-atmosphere,” Sime Darby Property noted.

The developer hosted close to 4,000 people in Serenia City, where attendees enjoyed a whole day of exhilarating events including hot air balloon rides that gave a bird’s-eye view of the gorgeous township, mini carnival games, a batik painting workshop, as well as live band and traditional dance performances.

Families enjoyed an evening picnic under Serenia City’s 120-year-old trees preserved from its tea plantation past while enjoying the scenic view of the lake as they were treated to a mouthwatering spread. There were also themed performances to reflect the ambience and festive feeling.
