• An exciting line-up of family-friendly activities await at Battersea Power Station thisSpring fromApril 1 to 16, including a free giant flower trail, Mobile Farm, face painting, a Wriggle and Squiggle floor playground, a special visit from Colin The Caterpillar™, and outdoor games.

KUALA LUMPUR (March 17): It will be an “extra special” spring and Easter at London’s iconic Battersea Power Station with a series of activities being lined up from April 1 to 16.

There will be a Giant Flower Trail throughout the period where visitors can “discover 10 different bunches of flowers hidden both in and outside the Power Station”, learn “fun flowery facts” and complete an online quiz to enter a draw to exciting prizes including chocolatey treats and fun family experiences from brands on site including M&S Food Hall, Venchi, The Cinema in the Power Station, Lift 109 and Birdies Crazy Golf, stated a media release from Sime Darby Property.

On April 7 to 9, meet Battersea Power Station’s “furry neighbours” from Vauxhall City Farm including rabbits, alpacas, goats, guinea pigs and sheep as the riverside neighbourhood’s Easter Mobile Farm comes to the six-acre Power Station Park.

There will also be “the return” of blue building blocks from Imagination Playground and table tennis while shoppers heading to M&S Food Hall will be greeted by Colin The Caterpillar™ making guest appearances in store and on Electric Boulevard.

An interactive power-inspired Wriggle and Scribble floor playground designed by artist Anna Bruder at A Line Art will be “bringing some energy” to Malaysia Square.

Ticketed outdoor games will also be available such as Egg and Spoon Races and Bungee Trampolines. Visitors can also take part in face painting sessions and drive Bumper Cars located in Turbine Hall B.

Alongside the spring themed festival at Battersea Power Station, visitors can shop with the latest spring trends featuring a mix of British and international brands now open at the riverside neighbourhood including Under Armour, Hackett, Jigsaw, Aesop, ME + EM, Reformation, Mango, Uniqlo, neighbourhood bookstore, The Battersea Bookshop, Space NK, ZARA and ZARA HOME.

For those hungry after “all the spring fun”, restaurants now open at Battersea Power Station include Where the Pancakes Are, Le Bab, Clean Kitchen Club, Megan’s at the Power Station, Fiume, Wright Brothers, Tapas Brindisa, Tonkotsu, No.29 Power Station West, Vagabond Wines, Roti King, Gordon Ramsay Bread Street Kitchen & Bar, Gordon Ramsay Street Pizza, TOZI Grand Café and the newly opened JOIA at art’otel London Battersea Power Station. For “easy grab and go options” there are Poke House, Kova, Paris Baguette, Venchi’s gelato, itsu, Pret, Starbucks® or the M&S Food Hall pizza, pies and sushi stations. Those with a sweet tooth will love Crosstown Doughnuts' limited edition Hot Cross Bun doughnut, available from their pop-up truck in Turbine Hall A.

For those missing the movies on the big screen, there is The Cinema in the Power Station, including the soon to be released Dungeons & Dragons: Honor Among Thieves and The Super Mario Bros. Movie, or check out 360 degree views of the capital’s skyline from Lift 109, “a unique glass elevator experience, which transports visitors 109m to the top of the building’s north west chimney”.

“This is the first Easter we’ve celebrated since the Power Station and Electric Boulevard opened and we’re really excited to mark this with lots of family-friendly fun for everyone to enjoy,” said Kate Boothman Meier, head of marketing at Battersea Power Station.

“Our Giant Flower Trail and the Wriggle and Squiggle floor playground is the perfect opportunity for families to discover this new riverside neighbourhood, culminating with a delicious treat from one of our restaurants, cafés or food trucks.

“Our ever-popular Mobile Farm will also be back, as well as games and activities for all ages, plus our restaurants and retailers will be offering a range of bespoke menus and offers for spring,” she added.
