Setia Eco Templer

With a gross development value (GDV) of RM2 billion, Setia Eco Templer is located on 194 acres of land in the east of Rawang and north of Klang Valley, “set amongst the majestic Bukit Takun, Templer Park and Waterfall Forest Park Kanching”, stated S P Setia in a media release.

More than 30% of the township’s land area is dedicated to its green area which includes nine pristine natural creeks, three lush gardens, calm lakes, and verdant green spaces. The concept of the ‘Legend of Nine Creeks’ was coined for Setia Eco Templer as nine naturally existing creeks were preserved on the site during its development.

The township which was transformed from a former golf course, now comprises low-density residential components of English, Peranakan, and Balinese-themed architectural designs and commercial properties offering a mix of low-density landed and mid-density high-rise projects planned to cater to the different demands. Up to 20.47 acres of Setia Eco Templer was planned of for shop lots, a boutique neighbourhood mall, and clubhouse.

About D’Network @ Setia Eco Park

Measuring at 3.16 acres, D’Network is the world’s first solar powered hybrid F&B hub which uses a 207kWp solar power system to replace traditional electricity from grid supply. It also has the world’s first solar powered musical fountain named the ‘Symphony of Sustainability’ - the centrepiece of the project when lit up in the evening.

“Factors of sustainability were taken into consideration by utilising a renewable energy source like solar energy which is more energy efficient and environmentally friendly. It provides power not only to the F&B hub and musical fountain, but also to common areas such as the pétanque court, playground and pet-friendly park,” stated S P Setia.

The solar power is also used for D’Network’s solar-powered microbial compression technology which turns food waste from the F&B outlets into bio-compost which is then used to fertilise plants around the premise.

“As D’Network is located close to the Bukit Cerakah forest reserve, patrons here can enjoy spending time in an environment that is 1˚C to 2˚C cooler during early mornings and evenings,” added S P Setia.

Setia V Residences

Constructed around a heritage building along Gurney Drive, the 1.82-acre Setia V Residences is the tallest residential development in Penang standing at 48 storeys. Comprising two towers of luxury condominiums along a premier address in Penang, Tower A has 48 storeys with 106 units while Tower B is 31-storey high with 72 units.

Setia V Residences was designed with inspiration from the shape of ‘V’, with the rationale to create a layout that allows for more privacy as common areas are separated from the private areas of the building. Cultivating the modern lifestyle of residents, the building allocates one acre of its space to 6-star facilities and amenities which are spread over 11 levels,” stated S P Setia.

Setia V Residences is protected by a 5-tier securitysystem and is designed to be earthquake resistant as it safely dissipates vibrations and energy.
