KUALA LUMPUR (May 11): Mont’Kiara’s pioneer developer UEM Sunrise Bhd is ready to officially launch its latest project, called The MINH, to the general public on May 27.

The residential development received an encouraging response during the preview of its Tower B for business associates and UEM Sunrise’s premium loyalty members, Trésorians, with 70% of the units booked.

The MINH, which stands for Mont’Kiara Indochine-inspired Nature Homes, comprises 496 units in its 42-storey Tower A and Tower B, with only six units on each floor.

UEM Sunrise chief marketing officer Kenny Wong said the development is inspired by the Indochine design expression, with a harmonious combination of French colonial influence and the sensitivities and traditions of vernacular design in Vietnam.

“The MINH is also ironically means brightness in Vietnamese, and that's really quite synonymous with us, UEM Sunrise,” Wong said.

He said the project, which offers homes ranging between 1,607 sq ft and 3,010sq ft, will be priced from RM1.4 million or around RM900 psf.

The MINH, with a GDV of RM979 million, is suitable for buyers who are looking for something more prestigious and targeted at professionals, foreigners and expatriates.

Strategically located on an elevated site adjacent to Bukit Kiara, The MINH will be built on one of UEM Sunrise’s last few plots in Mont’Kiara, according to UEM Sunrise chief development officer Mardiana Rahayu Tukiran.

“We wanted to make sure that whatever we do would really differentiate us from the sprouting of competitors in and around the area.

“As you know, we were one of the first to develop in Mont Kiara. So, you know, the onus is on us to then still be that stronghold here,” she told EdgeProp.my.

Typically, she said, UEM Sunrise would take a rather minimalist approach to design, with luxury on its own merit.

“However, this time we decided to go really to the next level, and while still retaining the resort-like concept, we wanted to sort of add a differentiation into the equation and what we did was to come up with the Indochine inspired homes.

“And I can say that this is the first time something like this has been done in the area, maybe even in Malaysia. It's quite a novel idea,” she said.

On the tremendous response during the preview, Mardiana said there were 70% of bookings on the day of the preview, which was two months ago for Tower B only.

“Because of this overwhelming response, by the time that we do our official launch on the 27th (May), we now are forced to also open up Tower A,” she said.

High-end features and resort-inspired living

The MINH offers four types of condominium units – Type A (1,607sq ft), Type B (2,076sq ft), Type C (2,733sq ft) and Type D (3,010sq ft).

Type A and Type B feature bungalow design concept, while Type C and Type D will have a semidee designs with private lift lobbies, versatile lanai areas and junior suites.

Mardiana also mentioned that the Type C and Type D units can be combined into a mega-bungalow unit, with an impressive built-up of 5,743 sq ft, with its own internal private lift, perfect for those who value a more private residence.

Each unit adopts a spacious open-plan layout to cater to each resident's current and future lifestyle needs, including a combinable breakfast and kitchen space, which encourages more interaction among family members on a day-to-day basis and guests during social events.

The open concept also allows natural ventilation and sunlight to beam into each home, which helps reduce the reliance on air conditioning and artificial lighting during the day.

Residents will be enjoying a breathtaking view of Mont’Kiara and the Kuala Lumpur skyline; Bukit Kiara and Petaling Jaya skyline; and Banjaran Titiwangsa

The MINH boasts a two-level luxurious and family-friendly facilities, which include the first Spa Hut in Mont’Kiara, offering hot Jacuzzis, saunas, halotherapy/salt chambers, and meditation huts – an all-inclusive wellness centre intended to rejuvenate the mind, body, and soul, for an ultimate luxurious living experience for its residents.

The project features a cascading waterfall with a cantilevered dining terrace at the end its 80m lap pool; an open green-filled space for residents to host various outdoor activities and user-friendly indoor and outdoor gymnasiums; and multi-level car park which is designed with a speed ramp that gives residents direct access to their respective car park levels.

The Minh is also UEM Sunrise’s first freehold residence to launch under the CLUB Edition, offering residents high-end features and resort-inspired living.

This edition is one of five UEM Sunrise's Happy+ product series categories, catering to homebuyers with varying lifestyles and life-stage needs, delivering a more streamlined customer experience, while implementing innovative product features into its future products.

Located at Jalan Kiara 7 in Mont’Kiara, The MINH is accessible via the New Klang Valley Expressway (NKVE), the Sprint Expressway, Sprint Expressway and the Damansara-Puchong Expressway (LDP).

“As we know, Mont’Kiara is a very established township. It already has all the amenities that you need,” Mardiana said.
