Datuk Seri Dr Zambry Abd Kadir

PARIT BUNTAR (Oct 7): The formation of the Perak Housing and Property Board (LPHP) will help the state build more affordable homes for the public, Bernama reported Perak Menteri Besar Datuk Seri Dr Zambry Abd Kadir (pictured) saying yesterday.

Zambry said the formation of the board was approved during the state legislative assembly last April. LPHP will design, build and sell the affordable houses.

"We hope LPHP will help boost constructions for low and medium cost houses for people," Zambry said after officiating the launch of LPHP near here yesterday.

He also handed over of offer letters of the Amanjaya Parit Haji Wahab Public Housing Programme in Tanjung Piandang to 60 people at the same event, Bernama reported.

According to Zambry, the Amanjaya PPR offers two types of houses (750 sq ft and 850 sq ft) priced at RM42,000 and RM70,000 respectively.
