PETALING JAYA (Nov 22): If you have a big family or if you are  thinking of living with relatives or your  extended family, you may want to check out this unusual home for sale.

This 3-storey landed residence in Taman Seputeh, Kuala Lumpur seems more like a mini apartment because it offers four apartment units within.

This listing was spotted on TheEdgeProperty.com dated Oct 31, 2016. The owner of this freehold residence on 12,000 sq ft of land is asking for RM8 million.

Carey Real Estate (Ampang) Sdn Bhd director Avtar Singh, who is handling the sale, said the owner bought the property from the previous owner a few years ago and refurbished the space for his and his relatives’ own-stay.

The freehold property comprises four 3-bedroom apartments with a built-up of 2,000 sq ft each. All the units come with lights, fans, air-conditioning and kitchen cabinets.

“The four apartments are located on the first and second floors, while the ground floor is the car park area that can fit 12 cars,” Avtar said.

The current owner of the 30-year old building bought it in 2006 and moved into the building in 2007 after the refurbishment.

“Currently, the owner’s family has moved out but his relatives are still staying there,” he told TheEdgeProperty.com.

According to Avtar, the rental for apartments in the area, with similar built-up sizes, ranges from RM3,500 to RM4,500 a month.

“The absolute price may sound a bit high but this is a unique property as it consists of multiple stand-alone living spaces and has a big land area with ample carpark space, which is something difficult to obtain especially in a prime location in KL,” said Avtar.

Located at Jalan Bukit Raja in Taman Seputeh, the building is 3km away from Mid Valley Megamall and easily accessible via the Federal Highway.
