PETALING JAYA: Bangsar has long established itself as a property investment hotspot in the Klang Valley. There are a number of factors going for Bangsar -- it is a well integrated high-income residential neighbourhood with ample commercial and recreational offerings.

Residential values in Bangsar have grown gradually over the years and constantly created new benchmarks in average price psf.

Data from the National Property Information Centre (NAPIC), revealed that 2-storey terraced homes here have breached RM2 million in 2014.

Meanwhile, theedgeproperty.com analysis of non-landed residential transaction data over the 12 months to 3Q2014, shows that the average price psf in Bangsar has risen to RM811 psf in 3Q2014.

The area's strategic location with easy access to highways and public transport, ample amenities and limited residential supply in the well-established urban suburb no doubt have contributed to the price rise.

Is there more upside for Bangsar? According to real estate professionals familiar with the area, it still has some room for growth.
