Best Western Plus Eastern Palace

BANGKOK (Dec 16): Best Western Hotels & Resorts recently launched the Best Western Plus Eastern Palace hotel in Mandalay, Myanmar.

“I am delighted to be able to leverage our first-mover advantage with yet another superb hotel in the country,” said Best Western Hotels & Resorts international operations (Asia) managing director Olivier Berrivin in a press statement.

“Following our two properties in Yangon, Best Western Plus Eastern Palace Hotel will be another excellent addition to our nationwide portfolio.”

Set to be a modern midscale hotel, Best Western Plus Eastern Palace Hotel is located minutes away from Mandalay’s main business district and historical landmarks. The development will offer rooms and suites that house latest amenities such as flat-screen TVs, USB ports, complimentary Wi-Fi and local touches.

In addition to that, the hotel also has an all-day dining restaurant, a lobby lounge, a shaded outdoor swimming pool and pool bar, a spa, fitness centre, steam room, sauna as well as a business centre and meeting spaces for events.

“I am delighted that Best Western Hotels & Resorts is able to play a part in Myanmar’s bright future, and look forward to welcoming guests to Best Western Plus Eastern Palace Hotel,” Berrivin added.

Best Western Plus Eastern Palace Hotel will be the company’s third hotel in Myanmar after its debut in 2013 with the launch of Best Western Green Hill Hotel, and a Best Western Chinatown Hotel, both of which are located in Yangon.
