Perak Seri Andaman homes

PERAK (Aug 10): Hua Yang Bhd has officially launched the first phase of its Seri Andaman homes on Saturday, which is also the group’s first property offering under the government’s MyHome scheme.

The event was officiated by the deputy director general of the National Housing Department, Hajah Rohani Omar.

The MyHome scheme is an initiative to help Malaysians own their first home, where interested buyers must fulfil certain criteria set by the Ministry of Urban Wellbeing, Housing and Local Government, said Hua Yang in a press statement today.

Located within the 777-acre leasehold Bandar Universiti Seri Iskandar in Perak, the first phase of Seri Andaman comprises 186 units of 22' x 65' 1-storey terraced houses with a built-ups of 850 sq ft.

Hua Yang’s assistant general manager Tony Ng said these homes offer its occupants the convenience and comfort of a contemporary urban lifestyle, with the numerous amenities and facilities located nearby.

“As a developer of affordable homes, we are able to leverage on our expertise to ensure that the homes we have built for the MyHome Scheme are able to enrich the lives of its occupants while at the same time appreciate in value,” he added.

Each Seri Andaman unit comes with three bedrooms and two bathrooms, and is priced from RM180,000 to RM200,000. Some 56 units are Bumiputera lots.

The amenities include a drive-thru restaurant, a police station, a wet market, a bus station terminal as well as schools, banks and government facilities. TESCO Superstore and an upcoming Mydin hypermarket are also close to the development.
