Hua Yang Ridgewood

PETALING JAYA (May 10): Hua Yang Bhd has launched the second phase of its residential development Ridgewood in Bercham, Perak, which comprises 3-storey cluster semi-detached homes, three-storey linked bungalows and three-storey bungalows, the company said in a press release today.

This phase has a gross development value (GDV) of RM51.5 million with prices for the homes starting from RM665,000 and a discount of 5% for Bumiputera lots.

According to Hua Yang’s assistant general manager Tony Ng, Ridgewood is one of the last few pockets of residential developments left in Bercham and he expects a strong take-up rate for this project.

“Due to the growing population in the suburbs of Ipoh, this has resulted in the increased demand for affordable housing in the area,” he said.

He added that Bercham has excellent connectivity with plenty of amenities nearby.

“Ridgewood is located 12km from Ipoh City and is accessible via the North-South Highway Interchange. Meanwhile, Bercham, which is located between the Ipoh-South Interchange of North-South Expressway and Ipoh City, is gaining popularity given its location as a centre point connecting Ipoh Garden, Kampung Simee, Tasek, Tanjung Rambutan, Bandar Sunway and Tambun,” he said.

The development is also near food courts, banks, restaurants, schools, a police station and a wet market.

“There are also supermarkets such as Tesco Extra Bercham, Giant Bercham, Aeon Kinta City and Tesco Ipoh for residents to get their daily necessities. Families with children also have quick access to a number of schools including Sekolah Kebangsaan Tasek and Sekolah Menengah Kebangsaan Bercham,” he added.
