PETALING JAYA (May 22): Resimax Group is showcasing its Northern Growth Corridor (NGC) residential project in Melbourne’s economic development zone at Mernda and Epping this weekend at InterContinental Hotel, Kuala Lumpur.

The project will be developed in four phases over a 51-acre area. It comprises 305 units of 1-storey and 2-storey bungalows and 9.4 acres of parks and reserves, director of sales and marketing Ken Dodds told theedgeproperty.com.

The units have built-ups of 2,000 sq ft to 3,000 sq ft and are priced from A$392,000 (RM1.1 million) to A$475,000, putting the total gross development value of the NGC project at A$128 million.

So far, 233 bungalows have been sold, said Dodds.

Resimax is a Melbourne-based developer that has to date built residential developments worth A$250 million, with a further A$300 million worth of residential properties in the pipeline, including 250 beach-front apartments.

Besides northern Melbourne, the developer is also focusing on the state’s western growth corridors of Truganina and Tarneit.

“Each of these new districts (Mernda, Epping, Truganina and Tarnei)] is serviced by all the infrastructure and community facilities that make outer suburban living so appealing – excellent schools, modern hospitals, rail and bus services, large shopping malls and numerous community shopping centres,” said Dodds.
