Quarza Residence

PETALING JAYA (May 5): Sime Darby Property Bhd – the property arm of Sime Darby Bhd – is set to officially launch the Quarza Residence serviced residences in conjunction with its Lifestyle Collection Campaign this Sunday, the group said in a press release today.

Quarza Residence – which is located at Melawati, KL East – will comprise two residential towers with 508 units.

Each tower houses 254 units comprising 1-bedroom units with built-ups of 651 sq ft, and 2-bedroom units with two bathrooms with built-ups of 850 sq ft to 865 sq ft. Prices for the unit start from RM536,000.

“We are pleased to launch another promising residential property in the Klang Valley, which offers an entirely new living concept where creative design meets organic space, creating vibrant energies for individuals and families looking to escape the hectic life of the city,” said Sime Darby Property managing director Datuk Jauhari Hamidi.

“Furthermore, it will be a valuable investment as Quarza Residence offers a freehold property ownership,” he added.

Each unit comes with air conditioning, kitchen cabinet, hood, hob, oven and refrigerator, and washing machine and dryer.

Residents will also be able to enjoy amenities such as a 50m lap pool, family and wading pool, half basketball court, futsal court, gymnasium, playground and jogging track.

According to him, Quarza Residence has excellent connectivity and plenty of amenities nearby.

“Quarza Residence is accessible via major highways such as the Duta-Ulu Klang Expressway (DUKE), Ampang Kuala Lumpur Elevated Highway (AKLEH) and Middle Ring Road 2 (MRR2). In addition to that, it also has close proximity to the Gombak LRT station via a proposed 800m covered pedestrian walkway,” said Jauhari.

“Quarza Residence will sit atop the upcoming Quarza Mall, which will occupy the lower three levels of the development. The mall will house renowned retail brands and F&B outlets set to be a catalyst for business activities in the area while offering retail convenience to its residents,” he added.

The combined gross development value (GDV) for both Quarza Residence and Quarza Mall is RM700 million.

KL East is an integrated township development within the Kuala Lumpur city limits.

It covers 153 acres, has direct access to the MRR2 and is situated 15km away from the Kuala Lumpur City Centre and the Petronas Twin Towers.

It is also set to house the upcoming Kolej Yayasan Saad (KYS) International School, the first campus to be developed in Kuala Lumpur.

The school is slated to open in early 2019 and will offer pre-school, primary and secondary education.

Other nearby education facilities include the International Islamic University Malaysia (IIUM) and Tunku Abdul Rahman University College (TARC), which are just within 5km from KL East.
