Anggun Residences, UDA, Jalan Sultan Ismail

KUALA LUMPUR (Oct 5): UDA Holdings Bhd (UDA) launched its RM400 million Anggun Residences serviced apartment development over the weekend. It offers 384 units and is located at the heart of Kuala Lumpur city centre.

UDA group managing director Datuk Ahmad Abu Bakar said the launch marked a milestone for  UDA in its pursuit to be the country’s leading sustainable property developer and asset management organisation.

“In comparison with other high-end properties within the area, UDA’s Anggun Residences is priced between RM1,300 and RM1,400 psf, which is competitive considering the development’s prime location,” he said in a press statement.

Located near Jalan Sultan Ismail and beside Sheraton Imperial Hotel, Anggun Residences will be built on a 0.9-acre plot that is part of a larger 4.49-acre parcel  belonging to UDA, which is one of the largest landowners in the area.

The serviced apartments have a built-up area of 657 sq ft to 1,535 sq ft, in layouts of studio, 1-bedroom, 2-bedroom, 2+1 bedroom and 3+1 bedroom units. Common facilities are an infinity pool, gym, squash court, playground, sundry shop, and private dining room. Other features include a four-tier security system and  smart home system that controls lighting, air-conditioning.

There will be a covered walkway to Medan Tuanku Monorail station that will provide access to the existing elevated walkway between the monorail station and Sultan Ismail Star LRT station. The Dang Wangi Putra LRT station is also located nearby.

The launch was officiated by deputy finance minister 2 Datuk Johari Abdul Ghani. “The project is within the Greater KL/Klang Valley development which represents a crucial component of the Economic Transformation Plan to transform Malaysia into a high-income nation by 2020,” he said.

He added that Anggun Residences is part of the Greater KL/Klang Valley agenda to ensure a sustainable and liveable city with high-quality infrastructure and green spaces by developing inner city residential areas.
