Ara Damansara is an affluent township in Petaling Jaya, Selangor. Launched in 1999 by Sime Pilmoor Development Sdn Bhd, a subsidiary of Sime Darby Berhad, it sits on 762 acres of freehold land along the Sultan Abdul Aziz Shah Airport road. It is primarily a residential township with mixed properties such as double-storey link houses, double-storey semi-detached houses, bungalows, medium-cost apartments, high-rise condominiums and shop offices. It has an excellent road infrastructure and many of the developments are built based on modern designs incorporating green architecture and are gated and guarded making them secure properties.
The Oasis Square is one of the trendiest hangout spots with many restaurants, cafés and bistros such as The Royal Flush and Crazy Crabs.
