Kota Damansara is a township in Petaling Jaya, Selangor. It spans across 4000 acres of land owned by Selangor State Development Corporation (PKNS). Development of the township was launched by PKNS in 1992 on what used to be a forest reserve and today development is also being carried out through multiple private developers. It is sandwiched between U4 of Shah Alam and PJU4, Sunway Damansara and Damansara Damai of Petaling Jaya.

Accessibility and Transportation
From downtown Petaling Jaya, Kota Damansara is accessible via Damansara Puchong Expressway (LDP). It is also accessible via Sprint Highway (via Penchala Link), New Klang Valley Expressway (NKVE) and is also close to Persiaran Surian which will lead to Jalan Sungai Buloh. Federal Route 15 connects Kota Damansara to Subang Jaya and Sungai Buloh. The proposed MRT station in Kota Damansara will increase accessibility via public transport.
