Setia Alam, is a huge township located on the fringes of Selangor’s capital city - Shah Alam and borders Klang. It was previously known as North Hummock Estate, once owned by See Hoy Chan Group and then sold to S P Setia Bhd.
This well planned and sustainable township is developed by S P Setia Bhd since 2004. It consists of Setia Alam (2,525 acres of integrated residential and commercial properties), Setia Eco Park (791 acres of fully gated and guarded luxury semi-detached and bungalow development and Malaysia's first eco township, Setia City (a 240-acre integrated green city centre development), Alam Nusantara by PKNS and Anjung Sari by Sazean Group. Both Alam Nusantara's and Anjung Sari's lands (totaling about 600 acres) were sold by SP Setia to PKNS as parts of SP Setia's strategies to develop the bigger Setia Alam development.
This township has strong security, communal and green features, namely single entry neighbourhoods, north-south oriented units, wider roads, natural barriers of plants and water bodies, environment-friendly development - MASMA (Manual Saliran Mesra Alam Malaysia) requirements, concealed underground cables and drainage, built-in security alarm system connected to a local CMS and Internet broadband access, 36 months defect liability period (usually only 18 months) and an industrial-free zone development.
