Seri Ixora Apartmentis a high rise, high density apartment located in Shah Alam which caters to those from the middle income group and above. While there are plenty of amenities around it, there are also several factories and institutes of higher education located close to Seri Ixora Apartment. Therefore, it is not uncommon to see students as residents of the apartment. However, there have been complaints last year on the poor maintenance of the apartment. According to the residents, the ground floor was a mess, its corridors were littered with rubbish, and motorcycles were parked haphazardly. Also, the space under the staircase had been used as a mini dumping ground. The walls of the apartment were marred with graffiti and water stains from leaking pipes, while the ceilings were dirty and full of cobwebs. Even the children's playground was a sorry sight as the equipment were damaged. At night, some blocks were left in darkness as the corridor lights were either missing or faulty. The residents have complained about the situation to joint management body (JMB), but so far nothing has been done and the members of the JMB could not be reached. Credit : Propsocial 27.11.2019
