Taman Sungai Sering is a housing development located in Batu 9 Cheras and consists of three types of residential properties. Residents of Taman Sungai Sering have the privilege of enjoying a wide variety of amenities, all of which are about 10 minutes driving distance away from the neighbourhood. However, in 2010, reisdents have lodged reports of vehicles being vandalised, stolen laptops and motorcycles along with robberies, break-ins, and snatch thefts. As a result, residents were advised to be vigilant at all times. Thankfully these incidents have ceased to occur in 2013 after the police increased their presence in their area with patrols.
