Travelling further north, about 20km, will get you to the Penang International Dental College and the Butterworth ferry, bus and train terminal of Penang Sentral. While the neighbourhood is definitely nearer to the Second Penang Bridge – approximately 12km, it is still a reasonable driving distance to the Penang Bridge, making it easy for Taman Tambun Indah's residents to travel via the Butterworth Outer Ring Road (BORR) to Penang's capital city, Georgetown, which is an commercial, educational and entertainment hub. With its upscale status and connected location, it is no wonder that Taman Tambun Indah is a popular place to live in for people working in the Simpang Ampat area.
