Seremban Rehda to host HOC & Mapex 2019

SEREMBAN (June 25): The Negeri Sembilan branch of the Real Estate and Housing Developers' Association (Rehda) will hold the Malaysia Property Expo (Mapex) and Home Ownership Campaign (HOC) from June 28 to 30 at Seremban Prima here.

Its chairperson Jenny Wang Lee Peng said nine developers and 1,181 property units valued at RM756 million will be featured.

"The types of properties are single-storey terrace houses, two- and three-storey terrace houses, single- and double-storey semi-detached houses, bungalows and bungalow lots, shop offices and apartments in Seremban, Seremban 2, Senawang, Sendayan, Lukut, Linggi and Port Dickson.

"Rehda Negeri Sembilan will give away 15 grand lucky draw prizes totalling RM13,500 for 15 successful buyers," she said at a press conference here yesterday.

She said the HOC is helping to boost property ownership thus benefiting house buyers in several ways, including discounted prices as well as stamp duty exemption for transfers and loan agreements for properties priced from RM300,000 to RM2.5 million.

"Do get your Sales and Purchase Agreement signed by 30 June, 2019 and submit to the Rehda Negeri Sembilan branch by July 15 to enjoy all these privileges," she said.

Wang said during the HOC period from Jan 1 to June 30 this year, the developer will provide a minimum 10 per cent discount on completed or under-construction houses while the government will offer stamp duty exemptions.

She said the first round of Mapex and HOC was held from March 15 to 17 at Dataran Centrio, Seremban 2 and the response was overwhelming, with bookings for 124 units of residential properties totalling RM45.2 million.

“We urge buyers to visit this expo to scout around and make a wise choice with all the great offers given by developers, the HOC and the organiser," she said.
