TCS bags RM68.40 mil contract from Sime Darby property

KUALA LUMPUR (Aug 26): Building and infrastructure construction services provider TCS Group Holdings Bhd has secured an RM68.40 million contract from Sime Darby Property (City of Elmina) Sdn Bhd.

The contract secured through its wholly-owned subsidiary, TCS Construction Sdn Bhd is for the construction of the double-storey link house and infrastructure works known as the Elmina Green Three in Shah Alam, Selangor.

“This is also our second contract win since we went public in July 2020. Our achievement adds further credence and testament to our technical and execution capabilities,” TCS Group managing director Datuk Tee Chai Seng said in a statement.

With this new contract win, the Group’s outstanding orderbook has now increased to approximately RM670 million.

“The outlook of the Group remains favourable as we are seeing more tender activities rolled out for both building construction and infrastructure segments. At the same time, we are also busy executing our expansion plans, and building up our technical capabilities to ensure we are well-positioned for growth,” Tee said.

Elmina Green Three is part of the City of Elmina, an integrated township in Shah Alam along the rapidly growing Guthrie Corridor. The contract, which shall commence on Sept 7, 2020, is to be completed by July 6, 2023.
