KUALA LUMPUR (Sept 22): Miele Malaysia has launched its latest kitchen equipment series, the Generation 7000 series at the Miele Lounge in Kuala Lumpur today.

With nearly 350 model versions worldwide, Miele's Generation 7000 series introduces a new range of built-in kitchen appliances with user-friendly and smart features that make cooking simpler and with less hassle.

For instance, the series comes with a camera that is able to withstand the intense heat of a pyrolytic oven and new induction hobs which can cater up to six pots and pans placed and moved around anywhere on the ceramic glass screen.

Other features include the Motion React where the oven will automatically switch on its internal light as a user approaches and Taste Control function -- the oven door will automatically open when the cooking is complete.

Among the equipment which forms part of the Generation 7000 include the wall ovens, steam and steam combi ovens, speed ovens, induction cooktops and vacuum sealing drawers.

“We’ve been around for 10 years, and all these years we have been able to provide our customers with the full range of building needs for their cooking. Why there is no one size fits all is because we can customise everything based on what you need.

With the Miele @home technology, you can connect a majority of your appliances through an easy to use app on your smartphone or tablet which means you can monitor your cooking even when you are not in front of the oven physically or if you are not at home. This takes the experience to a whole new level,” Miele Malaysia general manager Tan Choon How told EdgeProp.my during the launch event today.

The launch of the German-based premium appliance brand also saw Malaysian celebrity chef James Won showcasing the new Generation 7000 series of kitchen appliances while whipping up his signature dishes in the kitchen.
