Temporary closure of Lost World of Tambun, visitor tests positive for Covid-19

IPOH (Oct 13): The Sunway Lost World of Tambun (pictured) theme park will be temporarily closed for 14 days beginning today after a visitor was suspected to have tested positive for COVID-19.

According to a statement today, the management said the matter was disclosed by the Health Ministry yesterday and active detection among close contacts of the individual was being carried out.

The statement said that both the theme park and Sunway Lost World Hotel would be closed until Oct 26 to enable cleaning works around both premises to protect visitors and the public.

“We hope the people remain calm. We are committed to cooperating with the authorities and the Health Ministry to overcome the problem,” the statement said.
