Covid-19: 95.9% of adult population in Malaysia fully vaccinated as of Nov 25

KUALA LUMPUR (Nov 26): Some 95.9% of the adult population in the country, or 22,442,346 individuals, had completed their Covid-19 vaccination as of Thursday (Nov 25).

Based on the Health Ministry’s COVIDNOW portal, 22,944,240 individuals or 98% of the adult population had received at least the first dose of the vaccine.

As for the adolescent population aged between 12 and 17, 87.7% of them or 2,762,739 individuals had received at least one dose of the vaccine, while 82.8% or 2,607,392 individuals had completed the vaccination.

A total of 138,752 doses of the vaccine were dispensed on Thursday, comprising 8,428 second jabs, 5,067 first shots and 125,257 booster doses, bringing the total number of doses administered under the National Covid-19 Immunisation programme to 52,391,444.

On the booster dose, a total of 1,823,474 doses had been administered so far.
