Bina Puri bags RM98.58m contract in Sabah

KUALA LUMPUR: Bina Puri Holdings Bhd’s unit, Bina Puri Sdn Bhd, has secured a RM96.58 million contract from Likas Bay Precinct Sdn Bhd to build a KoUMS hostel in Kuala Menggatal, Sabah.     

In its filing with Bursa Malaysia, it said the project was expected to be completed within 24 months.

“With the latest award, the group has thus far secured RM871.85 million worth of projects in 2013 and the group’s unbuilt book order stands at RM2.01 billion to date,” it said.

“The contract is expected to contribute positively to the earnings of the Bina Puri group for the financial year ending Dec 31, 2013,” it added. — Bernama
