Bina Puri Holdings accepts letter of award to construct serviced apartments, TNB substations

KUALA LUMPUR: Construction group, Bina Puri Holdings Bhd has accepted the letter of award from Mayland View Sdn Bhd on Sept 25 for the construction and completion of one block of 38-storey serviced apartments with two-basement car park areas and four units of TNB substations at Jalan Kuching, Kuala Lumpur for RM185 million.

In a filing to Bursa Malaysia on Oct 5, Bina Puri said the project is expected to be completed within 20 months.

“The contract is expected to contribute positively to the earnings of the group in the financial year ending Dec 31, 2009,” the group said.

With the award, the group’s current orderbook stands at RM2.37 billion.

To date, Bina Puri has secured new developments with a total value of up to RM1.33 billion and is continuously bidding for new projects, locally and overseas.
